摘要

In this paper, we propose a discrete wavelet transform based radar pulse deinterleaving methodology using a novel parameter, i.e., the radar antenna scan pattern. Deinterleaving is an important task in electronic warfare, where a passive receiver is used to silently observe the electromagnetic emissions present in the environment. The accuracy and reliability of deinterleaving algorithm determines the success of subsequent operations and enhance the decision making process. Deinterleaving becomes a challenging task where multiple parameter agile radars are operating at different frequency bands simultaneously. We propose a low complexity algorithm based on Wavelet Transform which can accurately deinterleave the radar pulses from the information captured through a single sensor. Depending upon the deinterleaved scan pattern information, a preliminary assessment of the number of emitters and their threat levels can be done.
