摘要

Systematic researches in recent years have revived the earlier ideas of ionic association/dissociation and hydration as causes of non-ideality in solutions of strong electrolytes. Fundamental prop- erties like vapour pressures, e. m. f. of concentration cells, equiva- lent conductivities, diffusion coefficients and molal volumes/densi- ties of solutions were shown to be simple functions of the ionic mo- ranges of concentrations.
