IBM and The History Channel® 'City of the Future' Competition Presents Winning Awards to America's Future Engineers

Three leading US engineering colleges are celebrating their winning entries in IBM and The History Channel® nationwide competition called, The City of the Future: A Design and Engineering Challenge. IBM and The History Channel®, in partnership with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), challenged engineering students to peer into the future and propose the innovative engineering solutions that will sustain our great cities far in the 22nd century. It marked the second phase of a competition that earlier asked US architects to design "The City of The Future," inspired by past civilizations revealed in The History Channel series, Engineering an Empire.
