1. The 'Creation and Internet' bill was introduced in June 2008 which aims at slowing down illegal downloading of works protected by droit d'auteur (French copyright).rn2. ISPs must include, in new agreements with subscribers, the obligation on the latter not to use internet accesses to infringe droit d'auteur over works of authorship.rn3. To ensure the effectiveness of suspension of internet access the Authority may create a national list of subscribers whose internet access has been suspended.rn4. The Authority will implement the three-strikes policy,rnwith two warnings followed by disconnection from the internet.rn5. Although faced with a rising number ofrnobstacles to passing the Bill, the government is pressing ahead.
