EDITORIAL

After eleven years it is time for us say farewell to our work as editors of Contemporary Security Policy. It also is an opportunity to thank everyone who contributed to the journal: authors, editorial board members, reviewers, guest editors and the production staff at Taylor & Francis. Our engagement with CSP began almost twenty years ago when Stuart Croft and Terry Terriff were in charge. They had transformed a specialized journal on arms control into a prominent outlet for research on security studies and policy. They also made it look easy, deceptively easy. Even after our experience as North American editors, we took over knowing little about the business. Maybe that is a precondition for taking on the job. Support from Taylor & Francis has been vital and generous, but there no disguising the daily work. What we discovered was not always easy, but always a world of fun and discovery, as manuscripts, reviews and correspondence poured.
