Celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2013, Boston Children's Museum has undergone a $47-million renovation, including a 2043.9-m~2 (22,000-sf) addition, designed by Cambridge Seven Associates (Cambridge, Massachusetts) to augment its existing warehouse structure. The 7698-m~2 (82,862-sf) facility achieved Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification by including various sustainable features: • tools to measure carbon dioxide (CO_2) were installed into the heating and cooling systems to meet real-time occupancy needs;
