The Glasgow Commonwealth Games and a number of regeneration projects in the city will provide a much needed boost to the industry.rnMore than 70 per cent of the venues required for the games are already in place, meaning the construction budget for the event itself is nowhere near the size of the London Olympics in 2012.rnBut there is still £300 million of sporting facilities to be built in Glasgow as well as a further £245 million for the games' biggest contract, the Athletes Village.
