AUSTRIAN TIMBER

摘要

The roof funnels sections are prefabricated of f site at a centre in Austria by specialist producer KLH using cross-laminated timber produced from kiln dried spruce/fir boards. Stacked at right angles and glued together the solid panels are 300 mm deep In section, 2.5 m wide and 8 to 10 m long. Weighing up to 3 tonnes, the sections are being brought across from mainland Europe in a 42-strong fleet of articulated lorries, and lifted Into position with the site's tower crane.
