Twelve months from now, London will be in the throes of Olympics hysteria. Much is written about the Olympics' legacy in sporting and cultural terms, less so about the lasting benefits to the construction industry - and the extent to which it should congratulate itself on a fantastic job, brilliantly done. Yes, a huge effort has gone into making sure everything is completed on time and to budget, but that effort has paid off. The building programme is already 88 per cent finished, with the completed Aquatics Centre the latest to be unveiled this week.
