Time for some good news. It turns out the recession - against all odds - hasn't made the industry crumble in terms of the quality of what it delivers.The annual report from Constructing Excellence and Glenigan, based on thousands of projects analysed in 2010, shows that on key indicators like predictability of cost and time, the industry is doing a better job for clients than ever. Of the six key performance indicators covered, five are better than the year before. Unsurprisingly, the research does show that a collapse in profitability has been the price to pay.
