Viable advice for tackling the chronic housing shortage

Last year, I was invited by government to establish a cross-industry group to help address the chronic housing crisis. The Local Housing Delivery Group was created, a collaboration between local government and the private sector. Our challenge was to find common ground for pragmatic, balanced planning policies and simplified development standards in England, particularly focusing on what was both sustainable and viable in the current resource-constrained economy.
