Can a single utility product or infrastructure 'all-in-one' supply all the household services and products that the end-users need and/or want? Major infrastructure projects such as water distribution networks, electricity grids and power stations are long-term investments. Much of the UK and Europe's infrastructure was built in the 19th century.
