McLaren Construction's turnover rose by 75 per cent to £266.5 million for the year to 31 July 2011, up from £152.7m the previous year, meaning the company jumps into the top half of the CNinsight 100 table. Laing O'Rourke has hired former ScottishPower commercial development director Roger Seshan, who has spent the past year working for Sellaf ield nuclear power plant joint-venture company NuGen. He joins as group director for asset optimisation and supply chain.
