This year CONSTRUCT has again made three awards for innovations and their adoption. A further award, sponsored by Hilti UK and CITB, has been introduced to recognise the Apprentice of the Year. The innovation awards dealing with 1) design, process and construction of concrete projects and 2) for innovation in materials and products used in the concrete frame industry were judged by a panel of seven prominent industry figures led by Professor Peter Hewlett. The third award was restricted to CONSTRUCT members for a health and safety initiative and judged by health and safety professionals.
