CONSTRUCTION FATALITIES RISE IN 2013/14

The number of construction workers killed at work in Great Britain rose to 42 in 2013/14 compared with 39 the previous year. The latest Health and Safety Executive statistics showed that 42 construction workers were fatally injured at work between April 2013 and the end of March 2014.rnThis was an increase on the previous year, when there were 39 fatal injuries to construction workers between April 2012 and March 2013, but remains below the 48 deaths recorded in 2011/12.
