Health contract awards in Northern Ireland last year recovered some of the ground lost in 2012, when their value plummeted 77 per cent compared with 2011. Despite rebounding in 2013, further growth this year is not expected. Offices activity finally dragged itself off the bottom in 2013, having comprised a measly £4m for 2011 and 2012 combined. Though 2014 is not forecast to see such dramatic growth, the sector should avoid falling back significantly. Social housing meanwhile built on growth in 2012 with further gains in 2013.
