Willmott Dixon retains support arm

Willmott Dixon has said it will no longer sell its support services division, after proposals failed to offer "added value". The company's chief executive Rick Willmott said the proposals it had received to date either "fell short of perceived value or would have resulted in the dismantling of the business".The contractor put the division, which includes Willmott Dixon Partnerships and Willmott Dixon Energy Services, up for sale in February, saying the business was "hampered... by being minority players" in the wider group.
