Morgan Sindall appoints MD for infrastructure

Morgan Sindall has promoted its nuclear, energy and water managing director Simon Smith to become its infrastructure MD. The contractor announced that current managing director Nick Fletcher had "taken the difficult decision to leave Morgan Sindall" after three years at the company, which he joined from Laing O'Rourke in 2014, where he was operations director of its infrastructure division, with overall responsibility for the company's infrastructure, tunnelling and utility services businesses.
