CH2M was 'close to disqualification'

HS2 cnairman Sir Davia Higgns has told MPs it would have likely cancelled CH2M's £170m phase two deal based on the evidence the organisation had gathered. In evidence to MPs on the transport select committee, Sir David said HS2 had been prepared to disqualify the US giant from the development partner contract, before the firm withdrew from the process.
