Heron Bros is to build four leisure centres in Northern Ireland under contracts worth a combined £90m. The contractor will build three centres for Belfast City Council under a £60m deal and a facility in Newtownards in County Down worth £30m. Belfast City Council appointed Heron Bros to replace the existing facilities at Andersonstown Leisure Centre, the Robinson Centre and Brook Activity Centre. The firm has started on site at the Robinson Centre, while work will get under way this summer at Andersonstown and Brook.
