Kier recorded its first monthly contractor league triumph since July 2015 in a tightly contested December league. The table of the top 50 contractors ranked by value of contract wins for the month saw Kier pip Balfour Beatty and Morgan Sindall with a £282.6m haul, according to construction intelligence provider Glenigan. The company secured an impressive 18 deals in December, the biggest of which was a £135m contract for the Innovation Campus at Cardiff University.
