Vaccine director joins Turner & Townsend

Turner & Townsend has appointed a former director general of the UK Vaccine Taskforce to its senior management team. The consultant announced that Nick Elliott has joined its leadership team to "enhance the company's programme management capability". Elliott was part of the vaccine taskforce from April until December last year, a period in which it formed its programme to build the UK's vaccine capability and capacity. He had also previously served as deputy CEO of defence equipment and support in the Ministry of Defence, and as managing director of Network Rail's national supply chain. Turner & Townsend UK managing director Patricia Moore said: "Nick has an incredible track record in world-class programme management and we are delighted to welcome him to Turner & Townsend. "His experience, in delivering an exemplar in programme management through the vaccine taskforce, will enable us to draw great parallels and apply this to the UK's most significant programmes.
