McAlpine JV gets green light for office scheme

A Sir Robert McAlpine joint venture has been granted planning permission for a 140,000 square foot office development in London, as part of a £2bn office pipeline. Situated in the London borough of Bromley, the office development incorporates green terraces and communal gardens.The plans also feature a gym and car park. The JV, known as Commercial Park Group, is a partnership between McAlpine and property developer John Baker. The group had already gained planning permission for two other office developments situated near Gatwick Airport: one at Gatwick Park in Crawley and another at Haywards Park in Haywards Heath. Along with Bromley Park, the JV has an office development pipeline of more than 2 million square feet.
