摘要

Two rail workers killed by a train last week in South Wales may not have heard its approach because they were wearing ear defenders, investigators have said. British Transport Police superintendent Andy Morgan revealed that early inquiries suggested the workers could not hear the train approaching. "The initial stages of the investigation suggest that the two men who died had been wearing ear defenders at the time, and tragically, could not hear the passenger train approaching," he said.
