Horizon reports £1.7bn loss

Horizon Nuclear Power has reported a £1.68bn pre-tax loss after slashing the value of its assets related to the Wylfa Newydd project. Accounts for the year ending 31 March 2019 revealed the company made a £1.52bn writedown to the value of its land and equipment after the £15bn project in north Wales was suspended in January.
