Safety tests for Virgin Hyperloop

Virgin Hyperloop One, one of a number of firms developing a new form of high-speed transportation, has said its technology is ready for safety testing. The Los Angeles-based start-up, in which Richard Branson's Virgin is a minority stakeholder, intends to send passengers through low-pressure tubes in train-like pods at speeds of up to 670 mph via magnetic levitation.
