Why should we have to wait for fire-safety regs to catch up?

Two years on from Grenf ell, the Commons housing, communities and local government committee has said the government is not acting fast enough to make buildings safe. Alongside speeding up the removal of dangerous cladding, the committee has called for urgent progress on building and fire-safety regulatory reform.
