Late payers to be investigated

Minister for small business Kelly Tolhurst has told MPs that Prompt Payment Code signatories who do not adhere to its terms will be investigated. Ms Tolhurst (pictured) told the business, energy and industrial strategy select committee last week that the move had been introduced earlier this month. "We will now investigate all complaints against signatories of the code and there will be regular reviews of signatories to the code," she said.
