Brexit has been a distraction for businesses across Britain. The frustration felt by business leaders trying to plan and by workers from the UK, EU and further afield, has been palpable. Regardless of how you voted, the process of exiting the EU continues to be a laborious and unwelcome one. When you consider that the projects and businesses celebrated tonight have delivered and continue to deliver against the backdrop of Brexit, it shows how brilliant this industry can be and how crucial it is to the UK's economy and livelihood.
