Civils contractors expenenced a drop in their workloads in the last quarter of 2018, according to a survey by the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA). The survey found that across the UK seven out of 10 sectors in the industry reported falling workloads, order books decreased for a net balance of eight per cent of firms, and only four per cent expect increased workloads during the next year.
