Balfour Beatty picked for £96m Scottish road

Balfour Beatty has been chosen for the latest section of a £3bn dualling programme linking central and north-eastern Scotland. Transport Scotland is set to appoint the contractor to widen a 9.5 km stretch on the A9 between Luncarty and Pass of Birnam, which is expected to cost £96m.
