CIOB partners with Qatar Green Building Council to promote sustainability

The Chartered Institute of Building has formed a partnership with the Qatar Green Building Council (QGBC) following completion of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Doha, Qatar. Under the agreement, both groups will raise the profile and recognition of professional construction management and promote awareness of key issues concerning sustainability in the built environment. Bridget Bartlett, chief operating officer at the CIOB, said: "For us sustainability means much more than the industry being greener in terms of its waste disposal and energy usage.
