Doka is providing formwork for an emergency ventilation cavern on Austria's Wienerwald rail tunnel.rnAt over 10 M high and 35 Mrnlong, the emergency ventilation cavern is set at 90° to the 13 km long eastern tunnel and has been designed to rapidly ventilate the Wienerwald tunnel in the event of fire.rn"Alongside the technically convincing formwork concept put to us, key factors behind our decision to use Doka formwork were the high proportion of rentable components (exceeding +90%) and the high degree of pre-assembly of the formwork equipment," said site engineer Robert Uschan.
