UK aggregates producer Breedon Aggregates boosted productivity using two Sandvik UH440i track-mounted mobile cone crushers at its Leaton quarry - one of 23 quarries around the UK that provide materials for the construction sector. These machines form part of two MCTs (mobile crushing trains) supplementing production from the static plant. Weighing in at 43 tonnes, the UH440i crushers are built around a durable Sandvik CH440 cone crusher that can produce a range of material grades at a rate of approximately 270 tonnes per hour.
