JCB has launched two new compact wheeled loading shovels - the TM180 and TM220 -featuring a telescopic boom design.The new shovels have a dedicated front chassis section and the TM180 has a lift capacity of 1,800kg with pallet forks, while the larger TM220 has a capacity of 2,200kg.The boom tower is mounted as low as possible to maintain visibility from the cab to the working area. This results in a maximum pallet loading height of 4.5m for the TM180 and 4.6m for the TM220. Maximum forward reach is 3.7m and 3.6m respectively.In addition, JCB now offers nine skid steer and compact tracked loader models. Two radial lift machines - the 225 and 225T - joined the seven existing vertical lift models earlier this year.JCB plans to introduce 18 new machines in total, offering a complete range of radial and vertical lift wheeled and tracked machines ranging from 590kg to 1.6 tonnes.
