This year will see a rush of new road building equipment launches, primarily driven by the European Stage 1MB diesel engine exhaust emissions laws that came into force at the start of 2011 and 2012. But manufacturers are taking the opportunity to update their products with a wide range of new features that raise the bar not only in terms of fuel efficiency, but also safety, noise reduction and real-time data collection.
