Cemex plans to divest

Cemex has announced plans to sell its operations in Austria, Croatia and Hungary, with the Croatian divestment also including assets in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia. The company is selling its Austrian and Hungarian operations to Rohrdorfer Group, based in Rohrdorf, Germany, for €160 million. The deal for its businesses across the former Yugoslavia is worth €231 million. This deal will see Duna-Drava, the Hungarian subsidiary of Heidelberg Cement, acquiring Cemex assets across four countries.
