Developing machine efficiencies isa combination of in-house design by equipment manufacturers and using the expertise of components suppliers and other partners. Hitachi is among the major manufacturers investing heavily in research and development (R&D). It has placed an emphasis on creating equipment specific to global territories - including machinery for Europe.
