Wacker Neuson was among the winners at the Intermat Innovation Awards in Paris in January, where the achievements of a wide range of construction companies were recognised at the ceremony. Judged by an international panel of 11 industry experts, the event showcased developments in the equipment, earthmoving, demolition and civil engineering sectors. The construction equipment gold accolade went to Wacker Neuson for its dual power 803 excavator. According to the judges, the machine's flexibility in switching between diesel and electric mode had been at the core of its success. It was given particular praise for its emissions-free capabilities when operating in indoor environments under electric power.
