Liebherr premieres new loader series

Liebherr has given a world premiere to its new range of mid-range wheeled loaders - the L 526, L 538 and L 546. The new machines, which comply with Stage V and Tier 4 emissions regulations, all boast enhancements in travel drive, lift arms and cab. Liebherr says the L 526 and L 538 models now have significantly more engine power and the L 546 boasts a six-cylinder engine. The hydrostatic travel drive promises low fuel consumption and reduced CO_2 emissions. There are two lift arm variants available on the loaders in advance of purchase: one is the z-bar kinematics with high forces in the lower lift arm positions; the other is the parallel kinematics with significant holding forces in the upper areas as well as parallel guidance. This variant is suitable for industrial applications with heavy equipment such as handling metal scrap or glass.
