Gehl Refines Skid-Steers

Gehl's newest models add depth to the middle of its range. In an August 1997 field test, Construction Equipment compared the features and performance of Gehl's new 35-Series skid-steer loaders, the 5635 and 6635, with their predecessor models, the 5625 and 6625. In tests that included trenching, excavating and truck loading, the new models, on average, were 26 percent more productive. New 35-Series design features we noted during the test included a Deutz oil-cooled engine, radial-piston drive motors, and the Power-View boom, which greatly improved side visibility.
