Allmand Bros, has upgraded its Maxi-Heat MH-1000 portable heater with greater total fuel capacity. The heater trailers now feature three smaller molded poly fuel tanks instead of a single large steel tank. The new fuel tank system has one 50-gallon engine supply tank and two 100-gallon heater supply tanks. As a result, the nearly 60-gallon increase will provide more than 30 hours of continuous operation without refueling, according to the company. The new molded polymer tanks are corrosion-resistant and the lighter material reduces the overall weight of the tanks, partially offsetting the additional weight from the increased fuel capacity.
