摘要

This study was performed to determine the optimal combination of admixtures and accelerators to develop concrete strength (5 MPa) for horizontal form removal upon curing at 10 degrees C. We used single and mixed chemical admixtures and accelerators considering the unit cement quantity; the slump, air content, and compressive strength were evaluated. The effects of admixtures and accelerators on concrete strength were as follows: Ad < PC < ePC-A < ePC-B < CaBr2 + DEA (C4H11NO2) < CaBr2 + NaSCN + DEA. For cement contents of 330 kg/m(3) or higher, CaBr2 + NaSCN + DEA improved early strength development upon curing at 10 degrees C, reaching 5 MPa after 24 h. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd.
