Adelphia quietly comes into view

Adelphia is slightly off the radar screen, especially in the broad-band wireless industry. But through its different arms, the company has a wide product offering, including competitive local service, cable TV and high-speed Internet connections. Though the company has a reputation of being conservative, its initial steps toward broadband wireless have been anything but. The competitive local exchange carrier arm of the company, formerly Hyperion but now Adelphia Business Solutions, says it's the winner of the largest amount of LMDS B Band spectrum.
