A veritable who's who in the wireless industry touted systems, devices and services geared toward the move into the third generation. Operations support system (OSS) vendors displayed wares that focused on synchronizing data to provide value-added services from an array of devices in a secure environment that can—get this—actually be billed. Helping prevent customer churn also was a major factor for vendors.
