At times, technology-driven industries have a tendency to focus on the next big thing at the expense of what is truly practical - what the customer really wants and needs (and yes, the press doesn't help things, either). But that doesn't mean that tomorrow's promising new technology or service won't arrive some day to change the world - it just means that smart service providers need to have a clear vision of what's not only possible, but real.
