Sweetness in Serbia

Bambi-Banat was founded in December 2007 through a merger of leading Serbian confectionery company Bambi (founded in 1967) and one of the oldest Serbian confectioners, Banat (founded in 1927), under the control of the majority shareholder Danube Foods Group. The company has 1,200 employees, production sites in Pozarevac and Vrsac and has undergone a restructuring process between 2002 and 2006 as well as the integration following the merger of the two companies.
