New editorial board member

Confectionery Production is pleased to welcome a new member to the editorial board. Alex Turtle is currently employed at the Food and Drink Federation (FDF) as Biscuit, Cake, Chocolate and Confectionery (BCCC) sector group executive. His job is to interpret, summarise and disseminate technical documents from UK and EU governments and institutions to members. Turtle is the secretariat for the BCCC Technical & Regulatory Committee, where his duties include assisting with the organisation of meetings, providing regulatory and technical updates, taking minutes and carrying out actions as identified by Committee members. Turtle also represents the BCCC at European Level within Caobisco.
