Practical experience in using self-compacting concrete at the precasting plant - studies on the mix design

The use of self-compacting concrete (SCC) at the precasting plant can be advantageous from the technical viewpoints of construction procedures and building materials such as e.g. manufacturing complex construction components in one working process and constancy of the quality/high quality of the exposed concrete. As well as this, production costs can be reduced and the working conditions be improved. In comparison there are however particular aspects to be observed when such mixes are used.
