Nachdem KBH bereits zur Bauma 2004 das neue lagenweise Alterungsverfahren mit Kugeln vorstellte, ist schon eineinhalb Jahre später die nächste Anlagengeneration entwickelt. Die ersten Anlagen sind ebenfalls schon verkauft. Die neue Anlage bietet Vorteile in praktisch allen wichtigen Merkmalen. Sie ist schneller, kompakter und flexibler. Ein Magnet ist nicht mehr notwendig. Alle bewegten Funktionen sind elektrisch gesteuert, hydraulische Funktionen gibt es nicht mehr. Die Schlagkörpergeometrie ist jetzt frei wählbar und erlaubt Alterungsoptiken vom minimalen Kantenbruch bis hin zu einem starken Kantenbruch und gestockter Steinoberfläche. Zusätzlich können nicht nur Pflastersteine bearbeitet werden sondern auch Spaltprodukte. Somit hat KBH eine Maschine entwickelt, die für den größten Teil der heutigen Produktpalette universell einsetzbar ist.%It is only one and a half years ago that KBH has presented its new bouncing ball ageing system at the Bauma trade show in Munich and now the next generation of aging systems is out. The first systems have already been sold. The new system offers a variety of advantages. It is even more compact, faster and more flexible. The system does not any longer require a magnet and all moving functions are controlled electrically thus a hydraulic power pack is not needed anymore. The geometry of the hammer elements now has a much higher degree of freedom in shape and structure. This new geometry allows finishes from slightly aged up to aggressively aged including bush-hammered surface treatment. In addition the system allows treatment of split products as well. Thus the machine has now the ability to treat virtually all of today's important product range.
